This role will be integral in leading our team in the construction industry, focusing on both commercial and residential projects. This role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities:
As the Permanent Director of Construction, you will be at the forefront of our operations, leading and executing construction projects that will shape our communities. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all phases of construction projects from initial planning to completion.
2. Managing project budgeting and resource allocation effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
3. Developing and implementing project schedules, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
4. Leading vendor and subcontractor management, ensuring all parties are aligned with project objectives and deliverables.
5. Ensuring quality control and compliance with safety regulations and standards.
6. Collaborating with design teams, engineers, and architects to determine the specifications of the project.
7. Negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
8. Monitoring construction productivity and report on project progress to stakeholders.
9. Overseeing the work of the construction team and providing guidance when necessary.
10. Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in pool construction, hardscape construction, or a related field.
2. Prior experience as a Director of Construction or a similar leadership role.
3. Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
4. A strong understanding of commercial and residential construction processes.
5. Proven experience in vendor and subcontractor management.
6. Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
7. Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
8. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. PMP, CCM, or GC license is preferred.
