Detail

Responsibilities

1. Oversee and maintain the reliability of mechanical systems, including Boilers, Steam Turbine Generators, and Dry FGD systems.
2. Utilize IBM Maximo and eDNA systems to manage and analyze data, identify trends and anomalies, and develop strategies for improving the reliability and performance of our systems.
3. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure the compliance of our systems with industry standards and regulations.
4. Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize the lifespan of our systems.
5. Collaborate with our operations and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
6. Lead and participate in root cause analysis investigations and recommend corrective actions.
7. Drive continuous and process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our systems.
8. Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and other team members.
9. Stay updated with the latest advancements in reliability engineering and incorporate relevant innovations into our practices.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in reliability engineering in the energy industry, preferably in a power plant environment.
3. Proven experience with Boilers, Steam Turbine Generators, and Dry FGD systems.
4. Proficiency in using IBM Maximo and eDNA systems for data management and analysis.
5. Strong knowledge of reliability engineering principles and practices.
6. Demonstrated ability to drive continuous and process improvement initiatives.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
8. Solid understanding of industry standards and regulations.
9. Strong communication and leadership skills.
10. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and train junior engineers.
11. Willingness to stay updated with the latest advancements in the field and incorporate relevant innovations into our practices.
